The Grumeti area offers electric 4x4 safaris with a wealth of wildlife, few tourists, and local driver-guides who know the area inside out and are available all day.

The village of Mugumu is on the road between Grumeti and the Kogatende region. We recommend that travellers stop here for a while to discover the market. Built in the German era, the buildings retain a beautiful harmony. The colorful stalls (fabrics, foodstuffs, various objects, etc.) are also well worth a visit.

Walking safaris, starting at 07:00 with a naturalist guide, armed ranger and remote assistance vehicle, allow you to observe the flora and fauna during an easy 1h30 to 2-hour walk.

After the morning easy walk, a delicious English breakfast is served in the bush on the banks of the Grumeti River, where you can watch herds coming to drink or moving to the other bank.

Night safaris in electric 4x4 vehicles enable you to get close to nocturnal species that are sensitive to noise and odors, with guides equipped with thermal imaging cameras whose images can be captured and recorded via Bluetooth.
